New Pattern Release
Socktober is just around the corner, so this newsletter is brimming with all things socks, kicking off with an exciting new pattern, the Rami Socks, created in collaboration with Malabrigo Yarn.
These have a slightly chunkier geometric colourwork pattern, so you don’t need very high-contrast colours to make them work. A more subtle contrast works beautifully, too.
Staying true to tradition, I've used my favourite toe-up construction, with a sole gusset and a slip-stitch heel flap. This method also makes it simple to customise the leg length, whether you prefer ankle socks or knee-highs.
Another little detail that I love is that the leg portion includes a few extra stitches for a slightly larger circumference, making the socks easier to put on while still fitting snuggly around the foot.
And if you’re new to this construction or need a refresher, I’ve created a YouTube video tutorial featuring a similar sock design, but all the concepts and techniques are the same, so it could be a good idea to check it out!
Socktober KAL 2025
We’re thrilled to be gearing up for our 2nd Socktober KAL, where for the whole month of October, we’ll be knitting socks together using any of my patterns, and I can't wait to see you being part of this event.
We'll be running it on Ravelry as well as our Skool group, and lots of knitters are there already discussing their plans and inspiring each other. You can find more information on the KAL and what prizes are up for grabs through the links above.
Last year, we had around 200 incredible projects, and it was an absolute joy. We’re so excited to see all of this year’s amazing creations.
Three of my previously released sock patterns: the Rhubarb and Custard Socks, Vaidava Memories Socks, and Porto Memories Socks, are now available in Spanish, German, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, French, Portuguese, as well as English. You should have received an update notification if you had already purchased them on Ravelry.
Plus, this year, there’s a free sock pattern available, as well!
To get you prepared, you can take advantage of a 20% discount on any of my sock patterns, including the newly released Rami Socks, on Raverly or Etsy, by using the code SOCKTOBER25 at checkout.
This promotion will be available until October 5th, 11:59 PM BST! Should you encounter any problems with the discount code, please reach out to us prior to finalising your purchase, as we are unable to apply discounts after the transaction is complete.

Here’s a preview of what’s coming in the next newsletter
Thuraya Sweater Release
I started exploring more exciting ways to combine mohair with other yarns while working on my Caeli Sweater, something totally different from the usual "holding together" method. This sparked the Thuraya Sweater, where my love for slip stitches and lace took centre stage.
The Thuraya is a drop shoulder crewneck with European shoulder construction and the sleeves are worked at the same time as the yoke.
The stitch pattern section lengths are entirely customisable, so you can create a unique version.
This design is an exciting collaboration with Moondrake.
We'll be announcing the release of this pattern in our next newsletter, so stay tuned!
