We do not collect payment information directly. All purchases are processed through third-party platforms (Ravelry, Etsy) which have their own privacy policies.

  • Send you our newsletter (pattern releases, tutorials, events, promotions)
  • Respond to enquiries you send us
  • Understand how visitors use our Website so we can improve it

4. Email Marketing

Our newsletter is managed through MailerLite. When you subscribe, your email address (and optionally your first name) is stored with MailerLite. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in any email. For more information, see MailerLite's privacy policy.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies to ensure the Website functions properly. We also use two analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with the Website:

  • Google Analytics — via Google Tag Manager. Collects anonymised usage data such as pages visited, approximate location, and device type.
  • PostHog — EU-hosted product analytics. Collects similar anonymised usage data, along with optional session replays and a user-feedback widget. We are in the process of migrating entirely to PostHog and will remove Google Analytics once that migration is complete.

Neither tool is used to identify you personally, and we do not sell or share analytics data with third parties beyond the providers listed below.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which may process your data:

  • Netlify — website hosting
  • MailerLite — email newsletter management
  • Google Analytics — website usage analytics (being phased out)
  • PostHog — website usage analytics, feedback widget, and optional session replays (EU-hosted)
  • Ravelry — pattern marketplace
  • Etsy — pattern marketplace
  • Skool — online courses and community
  • YouTube — video tutorials (loaded only after you click play on embedded videos)

7. Data Retention

We retain your newsletter subscription data for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your data is removed from our active mailing list. Analytics data is retained in anonymised, aggregated form.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
