A special 50th pattern-iversary!

New Pattern Release

Guess what? We've just achieved something remarkable - we released our 50th self-published pattern! You might think it's just another pattern, another day, but it's a big deal! We poured our heart and soul into creating these patterns, and now they're out there in the world, ready for anyone to pick up and enjoy. 50 times! Can you believe it? It's been an incredible journey, and we can't wait to see where it takes us next. Thank you for being a part of it all!

And it is a special one - a trip down Memory Sock Lane. This pair is the second instalment in the Memory sock saga, full of cherished memories from our trip to Dublin for Zanete's 40th birthday. We remember laughing until our sides hurt with our closest friends, exploring the vibrant city, and bonding over our love for knitting.

We continued the tradition by knitting the same socks in the beautiful yarns we bought there. So, it's double the joy!

It is a toe-up sock, so getting the fit just right can be challenging. One of the most essential steps in creating a comfortable sock is figuring out where to start the gusset. Zanete's formula for determining where to start the gusset in a toe-up sock works for many of her sock patterns, including the Dublin Memories Socks and any other toe-up sock with a heel flap. Zanete Knits 1st KAL

We've got more exciting news! It only took 50 patterns to do this, but it is happening - our first International KAL.

The KAL will start on the 15th of April and run until the 15th of June.

You can choose whatever Zanete Knits pattern(s) you'll participate with, including WIPs. Test knits, unfortunately, are excluded from the KAL.

In other news...

Zanete will be travelling to Latvia from the 6th-11th of April and is looking forward to meeting her knitting friends face-to-face.
