Welcome to the Zanete Knits Pattern Advent Calendar Day 6! We'll unveil a unique pattern each day, and today's featured design is the simple but classy Misty Morning Cardi.

This pattern was first published in Latvian in the first issue of Radåm magazine as Rīta Dūmakā (Misty Morning).

The Misty Morning cardi is a simple v-neck cardigan with a garter stitch accented button band, hem and cuffs. It is as versatile as they come and be worn in different ways - just throw it on your shoulders and leave it open or button it up when it gets cool. Recommended over a blouse or tight-fitting turtleneck, with jeans or formal trousers, as well as as an addition to any dress.

This pattern includes instructions on how to do provisional cast-on, backwards loop cast-on, cable cast-on, lifted increases, short rows, one-row buttonhole, and 3-needle bind-off.
