New Pattern Release

Meet the Diamond Groove Sweater—a fun, eye-catching design that brings bold, geometric shapes to life! This top-down sweater is worked seamlessly in colourwork, with an easy-to-follow pattern of connected diamonds that keeps things interesting all the way through.

This pattern was created in collaboration with Julie Asselin, using their luxurious Journey Sport yarn (80% Rambouillet, 20% Targhee). It was tough picking from all those gorgeous colours, but I'm super happy with the one I chose - Ruisseau as the main colour and Capucine as the contrast colour. Journey Sport is a fantastic yarn for colourwork: its blend of softness and incredible stitch definition makes it comfortable on the skin while achieving beautifully crisp, uniform tension.

And can I just say that working with Julie and her team was fantastic!

This pattern is relaxing and rewarding, with primarily short floats and colourwork that goes beyond the sleeve separation, and it is all about options! You can choose between a straight fit or a shaped waist, and since it's worked from the top down, it's easy to adjust the yoke depth, sleeve, and body length to get the perfect fit.

It's one of those pieces that'll definitely get you compliments!

I've also recorded a YouTube video where I talk about the design in more detail—how you can customise it, the techniques I used, and how the construction works. Many of you find these videos helpful in knowing exactly what to expect from the pattern before you cast on.

You get a 20% off with the code DIAMOND at checkout on Ravelry and zaneteknits.com!

The offer ends on November 17th at 11:59 PM GMT.

New Test Call

null

I'm ready to share the Lyon Memories Socks pattern for testing —a new toe-up sock construction which includes lace, cables, and a reinforced slip stitch sole, gusset, and heel flap. This pattern comes with a detailed video tutorial covering all techniques. However, it's still an intermediate pattern since it requires working short rows over a slip stitch pattern and the ability to read charts.

To give everyone a fair chance across time zones, this test knit will open on November 6th at 3 PM GMT and close once the group fills up. Be quick to grab your spot!

Sea Aster Sweater Test

The upcoming addition to the floral yoke collection will soon be ready for testing. This project is a collaboration with Townhouse Yarns from Ireland, and it features a flower that symbolises Ireland, along with a newly developed Sea Aster colourway specifically for this design.

It's a fingering weight stranded colourwork project with long floats, making use of the Ladderback Jacquard technique. And for those who love detail, there is an attractive feature in the neckband, cuffs, and hem, including some cabling. Stay tuned for the testing announcement in the next newsletter!

Please share this link with your friends so they can join in and subscribe! We really appreciate all your support—thank you!
