Get your needles ready...

I hope you are well.

It's been just over a week since I visited the Barcelona Knits festival with my knitting friends. It was such a beautiful, fun-filled couple of days! We all had made the same vest to wear - La Grace Vest from Radåm magazine, which we called our Barcelona uniform. I felt fantastic seeing my design honoured this way.

The weather was perfect, and we were at a gorgeous location and had tasty food, not to mention all the stunning yarns and knit accessories. Most importantly, LOTS of knitting together and making memories. Coming back to reality from that was pretty harsh.

But the good news is that after a long wait, I'm excited to let you know my latest colourwork sock pattern is finally out. Just like the first couple of designs, Rhubarb and Custard Socks are worked from the toe up with a sole gusset.

This time around, though, there's a new experiment on the heel flap using squishy honeycomb Brioche stitch, which makes the socks even more scrumptious.

The name has been inspired by these deliciously looking colours, but any high or subtle contrast combinations would work here. If you have a couple of sock yarn skeins that go together nicely but need help figuring out what to do next, give this design a go.

I've got some news for all you testing enthusiasts, too. A new toe-up sock pattern is ready for your eyes, and this time it's in one colour. All details about the design and how to apply are up on my Ravelry group. Thank you in advance, and I hope to see you in the test.

Happy knitting,

Zanete
