Dear reader,
I'm thoroughly enjoying motherhood of the top lad that is my one-month-old. He does like my attention but also lets me sort out things on my to-do list and celerbate little wins of other kind.
Today I celebrate another sock pattern being published on Ravelry and zaneteknits.com: Freshness socks! It is once again a toe-up construction with a sole gusset, but this time the focus is on mini-skeins or leftovers and playing with colour. The pattern offers infinite possibilities for all sorts of colour combinations.
Don't forget to post your socks on social media with#freshnesssocks; I can't wait to see all the bold combinations.
The other announcement that could be of interest to anyone longing for a single-colour garment is the newly published test call in my Ravelry group. Marquisette Sweater - a boxy dropped-shoulder crewneck with mesh elements worked seamlessly from the top down in fingering weight yarn.
I haven't even finished the sweater yet, but I'm trying to be as efficient as possible and getting everything sorted ahead of the start of the test, which will be in a couple of weeks. If you'd like to know more about the design and how to apply, please visit the Ravelry forum for all the details, and I hope to see you in the test.
Happy knitting,
Zanete
