New Pattern Release

Meet the sixth sweater in the Floral Collection—the Sea Aster Sweater! Inspired by the delicate sea asters gracing Ireland's shores, this design was created in collaboration with This Is Knit and Townhouse Yarns, both based in Dublin, Ireland.

The sweater is knit in Clarendon Sock yarn, which is a dream to work with and even nicer to wear as it contains some Cashmere (read further for a great offer on this yarn). And just look at this custom colourway made for this collaboration—isn't it gorgeous?

Stranded colourwork flows past the sleeve separation for this top-down, seamless design. You can customize the fit with a straight or shaped waist and adjust the yoke, body, and sleeve lengths to suit your style.

And if you're worried about the long floats, then know that the pattern includes all the details of the Ladderback Jacquard technique, with charts containing the suggested ladderback jacquard stitch placements.

The cherry on the cake is the hem, cuffs, and neckband, which are finished with elegant twisted cables, giving this sweater a polished, one-of-a-kind look!

As always, the pattern includes charts on both dark and light backgrounds, making it easy to follow in case you go for a moodier main colour.

New Test Calls

There will be separate test groups for each test, and both will open for registration on Thursday, February 6th, at 3 PM GMT to give a fair chance across many time zones. Application forms will stay open until the test groups are full.

Echo Pullover

A fingering-weight, drop-shoulder stranded colourwork sweater that's extra special because it's designed (mostly) by my daughter! She chose the yarn, insisted on the drop-shoulder construction, and even drew the chart. There are only about 20-30 rows of purling in colourwork, depending on the size, and most purl rows repeat the row before, so you don't even need to look at the chart.

Asim's Hat

The second test is another family-requested knit that started as a fun project and a birthday gift using leftover yarns, but quickly became a pattern after many requests on social media! It's perfect for stash busting since you can knit it with two strands of fingering weight or sock yarns held together, or one strand of DK or worsted weight yarns. The pattern comes in three sizes, and for the best cable definition, I recommend using a solid or semi-solid yarn in a relatively light colour.

Do Ewe Yoke Mystery Yokealong No. 2

Three clues have now been released, and the projects are looking absolutely stunning! I'm blown away by the variety and beauty of all the colour combinations.

If you've been thinking about joining in, now's your chance to catch up! The first two clues were relatively small, so this might be your last opportunity to stay on track with the group. You can grab the pattern here, and don't worry—you only need to download the latest file, as it includes all previous clues in one.

Not sure what this is all about? Check out the Clue 1 announcement on YouTube and join the Skool forum where all the fun is happening!

Unravel Festival

I'm excited to head to the Unravel Festival next week, where I'll be teaching three workshops! If you plan to attend, I look forward to bumping into you. It's always great to meet fellow knitters in person, so if you're around and see me, don't hesitate to say hello!

Nevaeh Sweater Release

This DK-weight cabled sweater, with a European shoulder and a short-row-shaped set-in sleeve, is constructed seamlessly. The cables are featured only on the body, giving you a nice balance with plenty of stockinette sections for some relief. It will look perfect in solid colours.

What sets this sweater apart is its unique neckline detail, adding a special touch to the design.

To help you every step of the way, a full online course accompanies the pattern on Skool, where I'll guide you through the pattern with video demos of all the stitches and techniques.

The Blazer Test call

I'm excited about my next collaboration with Spincycle Yarns, where I'm using their moody Nocturne yarn for a top-down seamless cardigan/blazer worked in garter stitch.

This design features my favorite European shoulder and short-row shaped set-in sleeve, and like my previous designs, there will be an online course to guide you through the trickiest parts.

And there's one more fantastic detail on this blazer that I can't wait to reveal later on! Stay tuned!

We'd love for you to share the link and invite your knitting friends to subscribe to our newsletter! We really appreciate your support—it means a lot to us. By subscribing, they'll always stay up to date on what we're working on, get the latest on upcoming test calls, and be the first to hear about exclusive offers. Thank you for being part of our tribe!
