New Pattern Release
We're so excited to share the Ostinato cardigan pattern with you all! I've never gotten as many compliments on the fit of any design as I have with this one. My test knitters, whom I thank from the bottom of my heart, one after another kept saying things like "I love the fit," "The fit is amazing," and "The perfect fit." Everyone seems happy with it.
Here are a couple of testimonials:
I've always strived for a well-fitting garment; this time, it looks like I've hit the nail on the head. It's a versatile piece, timeless in design. Its fitted cut means it can be dressed up for a polished look or casually worn over a t-shirt for a comfortable layer.
This cardigan was inspired by our visit to Vogue Knitting Live, where we attended a talk about the latest knitwear trends. They mentioned the comeback of fitted crew neck cardigans and the popularity of marling, so of course, I had to make one.
Soon after, while browsing the vendor booths at VKL, I found this beautiful marled yarn and fell in love instantly. I'm using @loopfiberstudio Yin Yang Fingering in the "A Hard Place" colourway, and I'm absolutely obsessed with how it turned out! Alternatively, you could create your own using two strands of laceweight yarn.
The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down, with set-in sleeves and caps shaped using short rows. For more details on construction, techniques, tips, and tricks, check out the pattern deep dive on YouTube.
New Test Call
I'd love to get your feedback on the experience and finished object of our latest piece in the summery lace-knit collection. Moonglow Top is a top-down, seamless tank top that combines simple lace and cable stitches. It uses DK weight plant fibre yarn, (or you can hold multiple strands together to get the required gauge of 20 sts x 28 rows in plain Stockinette). For more details on the design and how to sign up for the test, please check out our blog post. To be fair across all time zones, the registration form will open at 3 PM BST.

If you're curious about what's in our next newsletter, here's a sneak peek of what we have planned.
Next month marks a significant milestone for Zanete Knits as we celebrate five years since the first pattern was published on Ravelry. In honor of this occasion, we will be hosting a grand birthday sale on all our self-published patterns. Additionally, we are excited to introduce a very special garment:
Flashback Top
This unique piece is designed using leftover yarns from our years of creative efforts, making it the perfect stash-busting project. The Flashback Top is a top-down, seamless V-neck that offers both sleeveless and sleeved options. We're thrilled to share it with you in just a few weeks. Stay tuned for the announcement!
Pink Lotus Cardigan Test
I've missed working on colorwork and I'm super excited to announce that I'm starting a new colorwork sweater for the floral round yoke collection. This project will be a steeked cardigan, but we're planning to put out a test call in the next newsletter. Inspired by the gorgeous mYak Tibetan Cloud yarn, it will be called the Pink Lotus Cardigan. Keep an eye out for the announcement soon.
We'd really appreciate it if you could share our newsletter with other knitting fans. Ask them to subscribe through this link to keep up with the latest from Zanete Knits. Thanks a lot for your help!
