Socktober 2024: Celebrating a Month of Sock Knitting Fun! 🍂🧦

Socktober 2024 is just around the corner!

Throughout October, we'll run a KAL and celebrate all things socks! Whether you're a seasoned sock knitter or looking to cast on your very first pair, Socktober has something for everyone.

What's Happening?

We are excited to kick off this year's Socktober on October 1st with a special 4-hour LIVE Sockathon! We will cast our socks together for the KAL. You can join us via Zoom, which will be streamed live on our YouTube and Instagram from 1 PM to 5 PM BST. To be LIVE with us, join the Zoom call with a passphrase: socks. You can also watch and engage with us through social channels.

Join the Fun on Ravelry!

Our Socktober fun continues over on the Ravelry forum. Come and visit the post, share the Zanete Knits sock pattern you chose in the comments, and connect with fellow sock enthusiasts. We will be casting on on October 1st, but you can enter with a WIP, too. For now - simply join us here and let us know which socks will be your KAL project.

Don't forget to follow and tag us in your posts on social media! We'll be following the hashtags #zksocktober and #zksocktober24 throughout the month, and we can't wait to see all your sock-knitting adventures.

Our October sock relations will continue with our trip to Lyon to visit the knit eat festival, which will inspire our 10th Memories Sock Pattern! In addition, we will start a test knit for a new sock pattern, but more on that in the following newsletter.
