Introducing the Vaidava Memories Socks, the 6th addition to our awesome Memories Socks series.

This sock design captures the essence of our time spent in the picturesque lakeside town of Vaidava, Latvia. During a relaxing knitting retreat, we embraced the tranquillity and cherished the close-knit relationships with our friends.

It's the first cuff-down pattern in the series, but it maintains its tradition with a sole gusset and a reinforced heel. The heel reinforcement goes to the bottom, and the resulting Dutch heel provides a perfect fit. There is no need for complicated short-row shaping or grafting of life stitches, as you'll finish off with a delightful round toe.

New Test Call

Meet the next floral-inspired yoke sweater that's ready to be put to the test! This versatile DK project offers a pullover and a steeked cardigan option. Plus, it's worked seamlessly from the top down, allowing for easy length adjustment to your preference.

The test will begin next week, but we've started the process of gathering a few testers for each of the nine sizes. With anticipation of high demand, we want to ensure fairness to knitters across all time zones. So, we'll be opening registration today starting at 2 PM GMT.

We've teamed up with Wool Decanted, who generously offer a fabulous 20% discount on the original yarn for all confirmed testers!

Zanete Knits First Mystery Yoke-along

We've worked hard to bring a one-of-a-kind adventure to life, teaming up with Do Ewe Knit? and some fantastic yarn companies like Moondrake Co. and Spincycle Yarns. And we're over the moon to be able to share all the exciting details with you today.

The first-ever Zanete Knits Mystery Yokealong is about to kick off! The project will be a top-down round yoke sweater with deep running (past the sleeve separation) Latvian-inspired colourwork featuring geometric shapes.

It will come in 9 sizes, and the first clue will be released on the 3rd of January.

It is using a sport weight yarn and as the colourwork is quite intricate, a high contrast is strongly recommended. More details and important information can be found in our latest blog post.

To join in, set the first Clue on Ravelry on release day. Then, watch as the rest of the clues come your way through pattern updates in your Ravelry inbox and email.

Porto Memories Socks

We just returned from an awesome trip to Porto, Portugal, where we found this super cool yarn shop and got tons of fantastic sock yarn. I'm so excited to start knitting the next memory socks while everything is still fresh in my mind. Porto is famous for its beautiful tiles, and let me tell you, we saw the most incredible ones. I will attempt to capture that vibe by knitting a cuff-down, all-over colourwork sock. Stay tuned for a test call coming soon!
