New Pattern Release
Welcome the fifth design in the Yoke Meditation Series—a collection made to give knitters a relaxing break from the chaos of daily life.
This series is all about finding your calm, staying focused, and letting your creativity flow. Yoke Meditation No. 5 is another addition, with a mandala-inspired motif that really shines.
For the best effect, try pairing a solid main colour with a gradient yarn for the contrast—it'll bring the design to life! I have a few skeins of the gradient colours available - keep on reading to find out more.
This series is all about taking time for yourself, enjoying the process, and finding mindfulness through colourwork. Let this project be your peaceful escape.
The stranded colorwork starts at the neckline and flows through the body, continuing even after the sleeves are separated.
If you're hesitant because of the long floats, I've added step-by-step instructions for the Ladderback Jacquard method to keep your knitting tidy inside and out.
The pattern also includes charts for both light and dark main colours so that you can do you without brain pain!
If you haven't done a colourwork sweater yet, I have a step-by-step tutorial on YouTube featuring this sweater so you can knit along with me.
Here is your 20% off with the code YMS5 at checkout on Ravelry and zaneteknits.com until December 29th, 11:59 PM GMT.
I'm also offering a small selection of the original gradient yarn, perfect for adding a striking contrast colour to your project.
Untamed is a rare find, made at the historic Pāce Wool Factory in Dundaga, Latvia. Dating back to the late 19th century, this mill is full of tradition, using its original machinery that you won't find anywhere else. The wool comes from locally sheared sheep, keeping a close connection to the Latvian countryside.
I've got a range of colourways in my Etsy shop, and I recommend pairing them with a very neutral main colour of your favourite sport-weight base. Supply is limited, so grab them while you can!
New Test Call
You could say I'm a bit obsessed with European shoulders and set-in sleeves—especially when they're worked seamlessly from the top down with Japanese short rows. So, it's no surprise that the Nevaeh Sweater has both!
This DK yarn weight design also features buttons, a short row-shaped collar, and some gorgeous cables on the body. So if a cabled sweater with a set-in sleeve sounds like your thing, keep an eye out! The registration form opens Wednesday, December 18th, at 3 PM GMT.
