Hello! I hope you are all keeping safe. We just can't seem to catch a break from this thing, can we? Luckily there's always knitting, and as it's approaching the end of the year, there's always hoping that next year will bring better times.
To be fair, I feel I've had a fantastic year: I've published my first colourwork design - Pagan Sky,
I created my most magical design to date - A Thousand and One Suns
Pom Pom Quarterly published one of my designs - Saknes, my partner in crime and I published a magazine ourselves - Radåm magazine. I've published a total of 14 garment designs, launched my website, our team grew by 100% (from one to two), and I'm working on a tiny model for a new children's collection :)
Thank you very much for being there and supporting me with your purchases, encouraging comments, and your stunning projects based on my patterns. I'm filled with so much gratefulness words can hardly express.
The one last pattern before I close out this year is this Vest of Luck!
I hope you get what the name is about. My family all thought it was hilarious :))
This close-fitting crew neck tank complements perfectly a white oversized shirt. As it uses Aran weight yarn, it's hands down the quickest knit I've done this year; it took me just a couple of days.
It is worked seamlessly from the top down and features Latvian-inspired stranded colourwork in the body. There is some short row shaping in the armbands, which adds extra interest.
Happy holidays to you all,
Zanete
