New Pattern Release

We're super excited to show off the newest member of our Floral Round Yoke line - the stunning Windflower Sweater. It's a real eye-catcher with its beautiful design, featuring flowers and paisleys that come together in a gorgeous flow on soft fabric.

Not only does it look amazing, but it's also super comfy and easy to wear. Worked from the top down in the round in fingering weight yarn, it's light and perfect for when the seasons start to change. It's got a relaxed, slightly oversized fit and big sleeves for a cool, effortless vibe that lets you move freely.

One of the best things about the Windflower Sweater is the detailed double-knit rim around the neckline, cuffs, and hem. This neat touch adds some texture and a dash of elegance, making the sweater something you'll want to wear again and again.

This design was made in partnership with Magpie Fibers to commemorate their 10th Anniversary this year. We are excited to share a little bit of their story with you.

In December 2014, Dami Hunter started Magpie Fibers with a dream. After transitioning from making jewellery to knitting, she discovered her true passion for dyeing yarn and bringing the vibrant colours of Magpie Fibers to life. This venture was more than just a business; it was about following your passion, embracing change, and celebrating the beauty of handmade crafts.

Magpie Fibers made its debut at The Knot House in Frederick, Maryland, and remains committed to the magic of pursuing what you love. Dami and her team prioritise quality, ensuring that every skein of yarn is top-notch, igniting inspiration and limitless creativity.

We hope that the Windflower Sweater does justice to this gorgeous yarn! You will find stunning kits for the sweater on their website.

New Test Call

Today, we're excited to announce two test calls:

Dreamweft Sweater

This piece introduces our new lace-knit collection. Worked from the top down, this seamless, drop-shoulder sweater is made with fingering-weight yarn. A word of caution: the unique stitch pattern tends to lean in one direction, which may cause the garment to appear twisted. While blocking can mitigate this effect somewhat if the yarn is "blockable," this design may not suit those who seek absolute perfection. Find out more about this design and how to register in our blog post.

Brooklyn Memories Socks

The latest addition to our Memories Socks series, this design is inspired by our visit to Brooklyn for Vogue Knitting Live earlier this year. These toe-up socks feature a sole gusset and a reinforced heel flap and show off stranded colourwork in the leg. The design includes options for both anatomical and trapezoid-shaped toes, along with plain or corrugated ribbing in the cuff. Learn more about the design and how to register here.

We will open the registration forms at 3PM BST on May 8th to keep it fair across all timezones, and we’ll close the applications down once the groups are full.

Ostinato Cardigan

In music, Ostinato is a melody repeated throughout the piece, sometimes with a little twist or in a different key. Just like that, this cardigan is that phrase in your closet and can be repeated with any look you're going for. You'll find yourself grabbing it over and over because it just works with everything. It's got a tailored fit and set-in sleeves that make you look put-together, and its top-down seamless design means you can adjust the length to fit you just right. Made with fingering-weight yarn, it's the perfect light layer for when the weather can't make up its mind. Keep an eye out for the release.

We're excited to expand our newly created lace-knit collection with a glamorous addition: a top-down, sleeveless top adorned with lace, cables, and sequins for that extra touch of fabulousness. Stay tuned for the test call announcement in our following newsletter!
