Amor de Verano Tee
I was inspired by a traveller's blog post. She packed light and brought only a few clothing items, including a laced polo knit in which she snapped some photos in various outfits. I loved the versatility of the laced polo and knew I had to create my own version. The resulting Amor de Verano Tee is a perfect blend of smart and casual that feels amazing and will make you fall in love with summer all over again. This pattern includes instructions on how to do short rows, lace knitting, increases and decreases, backwards loop cast-on, double knitting and tubular bind-off.
This is a digital knitting pattern in PDF format, not a finished item.

Description
The Amor de Verano Tee was designed in collaboration with Justina (Feliz Y Punto), and the first time I met her was in stunning Barcelona - a city by the sea with a fantastic vibe that immediately makes you fall in love.
Justina's gift to me was 3 skeins of something special - Solaris, the perfect combination of silk and linen. Think of silky and breathable, the ultimate summer fabric. You have to feel it to believe it! Inspired by Solaris, the Amor de Verano Tee is the epitome of summertime comfort that you'll never want to take off.
For the design, I was inspired by a traveller's blog post. She packed light and brought only a few clothing items, including a laced polo knit in which she snapped some photos in various outfits. I loved the versatility of the laced polo and knew I had to create my own version. Get ready for your summer adventures with the Amor de Verano Tee - your perfect companion.

Notes
The tee is worked seamlessly from the top-down. Back stitches are cast on, the shoulders are shaped using short rows and then worked straight down to underarm. Stitches for each front shoulder are picked up along the back shoulders and worked separately with increases shaping the front neckline; both fronts are joined and worked in one piece straight down to underarm. Back and front are joined together and continued straight in one piece down to full length. Stitches for sleeves are picked up along the armholes and worked in the round. Stitches for the collar are picked up along the neckline and 1x1 twisted rib worked flat to desired length. Double-knit button bands with buttonholes are added on last.
