Introducing another timeless classic

New Pattern Release Guess what’s taking the spotlight today? The fantastic Aeternum Sweater! The mastermind behind the design? My lovely daughter! A simple Christmas wish sparked her imagination and unique vision

Aeternum - a name inspired by its eternal essence, the sweater is designed with timeless elegance in mind. It’s a classic treasure to be adored forever, or so I hope.

I focused on creating an exciting construction that made for an interesting project. Unveiling my ultimate favourite feature - the collar embellished with stylish double-knit button bands! If you’d like to delve deeper into this method, check out my blog post on adding these exquisite double-knit button bands to any sweater or cardigan.

If you’d like to know more about the yarn choices and construction, take a look at the recording of the Q&A session about this pattern. Or have a look at all the fantastic Aeternum versions my test knitters knit up under the Instagram hashtag #aeternumsweater or on the Ravelry projects’ page.

Code AETERNUM will get you 20% off the pattern when checking out on Ravelry, Etsy or zaneteknits.com until the 2nd of April, 23.59 BST.#Opinion We just marked Global Recycling Day to make us think again about what we throw away.

Being knitters, we already appreciate that by creating our own clothes, we make them more loveable and cherishable and, hopefully, desire to use them for longer. But there’s more we can consider in our choices. If you care about sustainability, I hope you find my latest blog post on this topic interesting.
